EASY PENCIL HOLDERS
Stationery shopping is like the best thing ever! Patterned folders, the fancy paper clips, and my favourite, coloured pens! I have so many pens and pencils it’s unbelievable! I don’t even bother buying them anymore because of the pile in my cupboard. However, I wanted something ‘fun’ to hold them instead of being kept in like 5 pencil cases. I thought of using mugs but just the bulky handle takes up so much space and 5 big mugs on my desk just looked weird! So i thought of these easy peasy holders!
What you’ll need;
A cup (I got mine for about $6 from House&Garden), a beaded-diamond craft sheet thingy (I have no idea what it’s called but you can find them from your nearest craft store), and a pair of scissors.
Cut a strip off the sheet
Peel the paper of the back. Be careful when doing this as I carelessly peeled off the sticky glue that holds the diamonds together. :p
Stick it vertically on the top of the cup leaving about half a centimetre off the top.
You could leave it like this but I think it looked better cutting more strips and joining them to each other all round the top. (I apologise for the blurry picture) 🙁
And there you have it! Pretty yet elegant Pencil Holders! I chose a grey and peach combination with gold diamonds but your free to mix and match any other colour! Try black cups with silver diamonds or white cups with black diamonds!
